Registration Now Open for Family Pride's Annual Family Week in Provincetown
Family Pride has announced that early bird registration is open for its 11th annual Family Week event in Provincetown, Mass., set for July 29-Aug. 5, 2006. Family Pride is the only national organization exclusively dedicated to securing equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) parents and their families.

Kate Clinton Will Be Special Guest at Family Pride's 10th Annual Family Week
Family Pride Coalition has announced that renowned comic Kate Clinton will appear at its annual clambake event during its 10th annual Family Week in Provincetown, Mass., July 30-Aug. 6. Clinton is one the nation's favorite lesbian comics, and has been a perennial favorite in Provincetown, where she has taught humor writing at the prestigious Fine Arts Work Center.

P-town Filmmaker on the Edge Award
The Provincetown International film Festival, enters its seventh year with the announcement of the 2005 recipient of the annual Filmmaker on the Edge award. This year the Festival honors director/writer Mary Harron, whose 1996 debut feature I Shot Andy Warhol immediately launched her into the spotlight as a maverick filmmaker to watch.

World Gay Outdoors Gathering 2005
The last Gay Outdoors Gathering in New England will be held at Barton Cove Campground in the beautiful Berkshires region at Greenfield, MA. A "State of Gay Outdoor Recreation" panel discussion consisting of board members from various outdoor clubs, canoeing, hiking, gay nude swimming hole excursions, mountain biking, etc. are all part of the GO Gathering.

Family Pride Hosts Special Conference For Prospective Parents At Family Week
During its ninth annual Family Week in Provincetown, July 31-Aug. 6, the Family Pride Coalition will also host "Building Families: A Family Pride Coalition Mini-Conference for Prospective Parents." The one-day conference will feature workshops and panel discussions on a range of issues from foster care, adoption, donor insemination, surrogacy, legal issues and more.

Family Weeks 2004
The Family Pride Coalition will celebrate its 25th anniversary during two of its signature events this summer. The 2004 Family Week events will take place in Saugatuck, Mich. July 17-24 and from July 31-Aug. 6 in Provincetown, Mass. This is the fifth year for the Saugatuck event and the ninth annual gathering in Provincetown.

Provincetown Tennis for Life
The Eighth Annual Provincetown Tennis for Life Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, June 19, 2004 at Bissell Tennis Courts, Provincetown, Massachusetts. The one-day mixed doubles round robin tournament is a benefit for AIDS, Women's Health, and the community.

Donna Roll Presents Opera in Provincetown
Opera diva Donna Roll will roll into Provincetown with her ensemble of singers to present two distinct performances, Septic Opera: Heaven and Hell V, Friday, August 22 at 8pm at Theater in the Ground@Septic Space (free), and, Summer SongFest, Saturday, August 23, 8pm at the United Methodist Church, $15 admission. Ms Roll is head of the Opera Department at Longy School of Music in Boston.
