Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick Marches at Gay Pride with Daughter

Just days after Katherine Patrick, daughter of Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, came out publicly as a lesbian, father and daughter marched proudly through the streets of Boston in the city’s annual Gay Pride parade. Katherine Patrick went public with her sexual orientation in an interview with Boston’s Bay Windows last week.

Registration Now Open for Family Pride's Annual Family Week in Provincetown
Family Pride has announced that early bird registration is open for its 11th annual Family Week event in Provincetown, Mass., set for July 29-Aug. 5, 2006. Family Pride is the only national organization exclusively dedicated to securing equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) parents and their families.

Massachusetts Gay Weddings Mean Big Bucks for Provincetown

Long a gay getaway at the tip of Cape Cod, tourism in Provincetown has exploded with same-sex couples rushing to the resort town for marriage licenses this year. Last Monday marked the one year anniversary of legalized gay marriage in Massachusetts, and while many anticipated a wedding bonanza for the tiny tourist town, most Ptown residents say they never predicted quite the explosion of wedding interest that’s hit the city.
